A candidate must:
1. Be a Bhutanese citizen.
2. Have attained at least 18 years of age.

4. Valid two wheeler driving license for Postman.

Background
The Assistant ICT Manager – Software & Application will be responsible for ensuring the successful development, implementation, and maintenance of software applications that are crucial for the postal services organization. This includes overseeing postal software systems, tracking solutions, customer management systems, and other business-critical applications. The role will focus on both the operational support and strategic improvement of postal software systems, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational needs.

Responsibilities
The Assistant ICT Manager – Software & Application will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the effective functioning, management, and optimization of all software applications critical to postal operations.
  • Leading software development and customization initiatives that enhance business operations, customer service, and logistics processes.
  • Coordinating between internal departments to ensure software meets operational requirements and aligns with the organization strategic goals, problem-solving and implementing best practices.

Position Title: Assistant ICT Manager – Network and Cyber Security
Reports to: ICT Manager
Location: Headquarter, Thimphu
Department: Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Background
The Assistant ICT Manager – Network and Cyber Security is responsible for managing and securing the postal organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and safeguarding the systems against cyber threats. This role will focus on maintaining a secure and reliable IT environment, facilitating continuous improvement, and ensuring that the network supports the efficient operation of postal services.

Responsibilities
The Assistant ICT Manager – Network and Cyber Security will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the secure and efficient operation of the postal network infrastructure.
  • Monitoring and defending against cyber threats, maintaining data security, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborating with other departments to enhance ICT services and mitigate risks.
  • Oversee IT operations, work in team, and ensure smooth workflows through proactive.
  • problem-solving and implementing best practices.
  • Network Infrastructure Management.
  • Cyber Security Monitoring and Protection.
  • Network Performance and Security Optimization.
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting.

Note: Preference will be given to those who have experience in the relevant field.

TOR for Postman

  • Drive postal bike for the gewog mail delivery.
  • Take care of the day-to-day maintenance of postal bike.
  • Maintain proper record of gewog mail delivery.
  • Assist Postmaster/mail in-charge in collection and delivery of mails to transporter.
  • Assist Postmaster/ mail in-charge in opening and closing of mail bags.
  • Assist Postmaster/ mail in-charge in sorting of mail.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
